About South Beach Perfumes - Three Generations. One Family. A Passion for Fragrance.

South Beach Perfumes is a family-owned fragrance business with roots dating back to 1979.

Our story began in Miami, Florida, when our grandparents, immigrants building a new life in America, started with a small flea-market table.

Through hard work, family dedication, and a passion for fragrance, that small beginning grew into a fragrance business with multiple retail locations, wholesale operations, and an online store serving fragrance customers throughout the United States.

Today, South Beach Perfumes continues that family tradition while bringing fragrance to a new generation of customers through our online store, fragrance education, and Fragrance Encyclopedia.

Our Florida perspective is especially relevant to stories involving:

  • Florida fragrance trends
  • South Florida beauty businesses
  • Miami entrepreneurship
  • Florida small businesses
  • Fragrance in warm climates
  • Perfume and humidity
  • Summer fragrance
  • Tropical fragrance
  • Beauty and lifestyle
  • Florida retail

We've also developed fragrance education specifically relevant to warm-weather fragrance shoppers.

Fragrance in Florida's Climate

Florida presents its own fragrance environment.

Heat and humidity can influence how fragrances are experienced, making fresh, citrus, aquatic, green, tropical, floral, and clean fragrance profiles particularly interesting to warm-weather shoppers.

At the same time, richer fragrances can still be enjoyed when applied thoughtfully and matched to the occasion.

These considerations make Florida an interesting market for fragrance research and commentary.
